Emma GriffinEmma Griffin was born and raised in Alice Springs. As a child, she spent weekends and school holidays, exploring the desert with her father and two sisters. She also pursued the writing dream from an early age. In 1995, she left Alice to go to university in Adelaide, where she studied ecology and conservation.

After graduation, she worked as an au pair for a year in the USA and spent a further 18 months teaching English as a second language in Japan. She has since returned home and is currently searching for a job in the conservation field. She writes in her free time and hopes one day to complete her novel.
