Linda Wells’s publications to date include many letters to the Editor, mostly witty. Also one short story in an anthology of teachers’ stories.  Her talents in writing, amongst other things, are not yet fully discovered.  Could one day lead the world or at least a small army. Loves to write stories, garden, be a mother and housekeeper, work out at the gym, shit- stir and do all manner of other good things that make the world a better place. None of these keep her in the manner to which she has become accustomed so she seeks gainful employment along the way. Often as a teacher or in some related area. Believes quality teaching to be one of the most important (and under recognised) possibilities for the world.

Melbourne and surrounds 26 years, Tasmania one year, Central Australia ever since, more than a decade now.  (Likes to write grammatically incorrect sentences even though she is trained in the use of the Queen’s English.)

Straight forward, predictable, non-eventful suburban Melbourne upbringing. No pain no gain. Has created all the pain since she left home, much to her parents angst and confusion. And her own enlightenment.

Loves a good curry. Wheat makes her sick as does conservatism, racism, rampant stupidity and war as a proposed method of solving problems.
