Megg Kelham was born in London, came to Australia by ship when she was six and grew up in Sydney. A slow traveller, she has spent the last 25 years working her way around Australia.

She is an historian by education and a teacher by profession. She has taught everything from sex education to classical studies in classrooms everywhere from bush schools and gold mines to a maximum-security prison. Her current passion is community radio.
